St. Henry Parishes

Parish Council Notes 

• Admin Update 
  • Branding:
    • We will be rolling out a new logo for our one parish after deliberation by the parish council. 
    • Logo to incorporate pieces from all 5 parishes becoming one.
    • Expecting to debut this to the parish this fall.
  • Finances: 
    • As of June 30th, 2024 (end of last fiscal year), the Cluster closed in the black.
    • Plan to share a more detailed financial report to the parish this fall.
    • Finance meetings are forthcoming to review the last fiscal year.
    • Review of the proposed 501c3's for each church.
  • Buildings/Grounds:
    • St. Bernard Capital Campaign: Tuesday (8/27) at 7:00pm we will have a meeting to give a public update on the St. Bernard CC Project.
    • St. Francis Rectory: hoping to be completed early September (note this project was parishioner funded) 
    • St. Francis Roof: work is still complete & paid for.
  • Staffing:
    • In July we hired a “Director of Evangelization”. This is a full time position.
      • She will be running the St. Bernard religious ed program, supporting the CCD Center, teaching and our leading our evangelization team. 
    • Our St. Aloysius Parish Life Coordinator has gone from part-time to full-time, under the title “Pastoral Associate”. Her responsibilities include evangelization efforts, outreach as well as administrative tasks. 
      • She is taking on Small Groups, Breakfast Club & teaching.
    • Our Coordinator of Religious Education is dropping down from full-time to part-time. She will be working 3 days per week.
    • Some teachers for CCD could only commit from now until December; we may need to reorganize for the second semester. 
    • No current volunteers for the CYO director position. 
      • Perhaps a 2-3 person team can be created to lead with a 2-3 year commitment and a rotation out.
• Formation:
  • Parish: Offering the St. Joseph Society for Men & a Theology of the Laity, Family, & Evangelization class beginning this fall.
    • Potential to create a server program for young boys.  
  • Council & Staff Formation: Soul of the Apostolate by Jean-Baptiste Chautard reflection
• Spiritual:
  • Latin Mass Status: waiting for some decisions from the Church for allowances & will present to the Dean & reconvene with parish council.
• Human: no news.
