Parish Council Notes  

• Priest: Sacraments/Liturgy/Mass:
  • Continued improvements to liturgical items (vestments, vessels, etc)
    • Current sets of vestments are beginning to look worn; the need is liturgical rather than functional
    • "Wish List" for each church with items and cost, which parishioners could opt to sponsor/donate
  • Feasibility study for the restoration of Saint Henry Church & possibly other churches too
  • Liturgical Formation
• Prophet: Evangelization:
  • Continue to build on small groups for young adults - starting to rely more on volunteers
  • Tri-annual family nights - catechesis, activities, babysitting
    • Will need to find facility, time, etc. 
    • Possible topics: Mental Health, Cell Phones/Parental Controls, Personal Finances
    • Considering how to get a wider variety of volunteers to help out with parish activities
  • Parish Mission- Lent 2026
    • Fr. Sebastian Walsh: How to keep kids in the faith & how to bring them back if they've strayed
    • 1 week long - multiple talks throughout the week
  • Together Sunday- Sept. 14
  • Monthly young men's group to meet with priests & facilitate vocations (meet during school year)
  • Promote CFL (Catholic Family Land)
  • Continue Fill Your Cup Night and Marriage Mentor Night
• King: Administrative Update/Governess/Finance
  
  • Financial Goals: Realizing an 8% increase in weekly collections, which have been worked into the budget
    • Needs to come from new people
  • Staffing Goals: 
    • Hire a Director of Evangelization
    • Solidify CCD teachers earlier
  • Buildings & Grounds Goals:
    • Build communication pieces for each church & explain the needs
      • Focusing on the larger needs
