Parish Council Notes
- Admin Update
- Finances:
- The new fiscal year began on 7/1/24.
- Going forward we are operating as one financial entity.
- Distributed and explained the update to the Sacrificial Giving section of the bulletin.
- We will add special collections when applicable.
- Buildings/Grounds:
- St. Bernard Capital Campaign: a letter went out about the next phase of the project and seeking donations.
- St. Bernard Elevator: We are switching service companies after repeated issues with the elevator.
- St. Francis Roof: work is still ongoing, but no issues
- Staffing: no update
- Finances:
- Deanery Update:
- The former St. Marys and Sidney Deaneries were renamed St. Augustine A and B. Recently they have been combined to be St. Augustine Deanery and Fr. Sean Wilson has been named the dean.
- Formation:
- Parish: Will be offering the St. Joseph Society for men & a Theology of the Laity, Family, & Evangelization class beginning this fall. Promotion to being soon with a few details being worked out.
- Council & Staff Formation: Soul of the Apostolate by Jean-Baptiste Chautard reflection
- Spiritual:
- Latin Mass Status: waiting for some decisions from the Church for allowances & will present to the Dean & reconvene with parish council.
- Human: Feast of St. Henry - July 14
- Misc: Meeting frequency will change to bi-monthly
Next meeting: Hoping to discuss a new logo & branding.
